Employment opportunities for general and operations managers are predicted to be some of the fastest growing in Connecticut during the 2008 to 2018 decade, according to the state's Department of Labor. More than 900 new job openings are expected to open up during this time and could provide the right kind of opportunity for a graduate of one of the MBA programs in Connecticut. The advanced skills that you obtain through an MBA program can be useful in any number of growing business fields--not just for entering the field of general or operations mangers, whose mean annual wages in 2010 were more than double the wages for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In Connecticut, employment opportunities for financial managers, management analysts and sales analysts are also expected to grow and could create openings for you.
